Challenge
National marketing and advertising agency wishing to provide multicultural services to their clients wanted to figure out how they could leverage their current team, which was actually representative of various cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds.
Solution
We conducted a focus group with a diverse group of team members, and with a good representation of the various agency’s departments. The group included activities to help team members freely open up without fear of being judged or criticized. In addition, we brainstormed on activities that could be conducted on a weekly or monthly basis to keep the momentum going.
Results
The agency now has Diversity Ambassadors who execute activities in order to continue growing and engaging in multicultural experiences. A Diversity Ambassador is now included in client meetings which adds credibility to the agency’s knowledge in multicultural services while also showing their clients that they are willing to go the extra mile.
